Dear Members and Guests:
I would like to invite you and your family to the 51st Annual Meeting of the New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons to be held at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, Massachusetts from Friday June 4th through Sunday June 6th. Come explore the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts with its stunning vistas and multiple local attractions.
The Scientific Meeting will continue the tradition of strong presentations from throughout New England. Saturday will again feature the Murray Award Competition. We have added a Patient Safety Session to round out the morning. Our guest speaker, Dr. Edwin G. Wilkins from the University of Michigan, will present Postoperative Venous Thromboembolism in Plastic Surgery, a topic of great importance to all of us.
Sunday’s program is highlighted by Dr. Edwin Wilkins’ presentation Breast Reconstruction in 2010: What Do We Really Know? He will also participate with several New England Society members on a Breast Reconstruction Panel. Current concepts will be presented and members can pose questions to experts in breast reconstruction. The Founders Award Competition will round out Sunday’s program.
